The Oahu Interscholastic Association (OIA) announced Wednesday that all athletic events scheduled from today through Sunday have been postponed due to an approaching storm and concerns over road safety.
According to OIA officials, the postponement will remain in effect through Sunday, March 15, impacting competitions across all spring sports.
The decision was made with the safety of student-athletes, coaches, officials, and families as the top priority.
“Due to the impending storm and concerns regarding road safety,” the OIA stated in a release, “all athletic events scheduled from today through this weekend have been postponed.”
