Weather postpones HHSAA Baseball and Softball events on Thursday


There are just some things that you can’t control.

Due to inclement weather, the HHSAA has postponed all baseball and softball semifinal games that were scheduled for Thursday, May 16.

All four Wally Yonamine Foundation semifinal games will resume Friday at Les Murakami 10 a.m. with the first Division II matchup between Kamehameha-Hawaii and Kauai resuming their suspended game with the Warriors leading 6-0 in the bottom of the third (tickets from suspended game will be honored during resumed game). Damien vs. Waianae will follow with the Division I semifinals slated for 4 (Saint Louis/Maui) and 7 p.m. (Baldwin/Kamehameha).

Dates and times of championship games are TBD.

In the DataHouse Softball Championships, the HHSAA will try to complete both semifinal and title games on Friday with semifinals for both Division I and Division II being held at Moanalua and Pearl City.

Full softball scheduled is listed below:

PAC-5 vs. Waimea at Moanalua 10 a.m.
Kapaa vs. Aiea at Pearl City 10 a.m.
Title game at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium 4:30 p.m.

Baldwin vs. Kamehameha at Moanalua following conclusion of PAC-5/Waimea
Mililani vs. Campbell at Pearl City following conclusion of Kapaa/Aiea
Title game at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium 7 p.m.
